I was PSN.NET customer since feb 2000. I moved in may, and my
service was out for the next 6 months. I decided to dump psn (terrible
customer service, tech support etc) and I was looking for a local
isp. I found INYC.com, they had great sales team. My install took
longer than usual due to me not providing all the info they asked.
During the whole setup I was always notified about techs comming
in and the schedule. My connection is 256k SDSL, great for my
needs. Price was ok too. So far great experience. Several static
IP addresses , web space, tons of email addresses, domain hosting.
Highly recommended.

Wow what a story ordered my NAS 512k SDSL line back in July. David
Bruno almost within a week had a date for me. But unfortunately
Bell(HELL) Atlantic decided to strike so my date was sent to hell.
So after striking i got a date in September, Bell showed but some
B.S. on my line so nogo. Bell had 3 appointment's after showed
for two. I was ready to throw in the towel but INYC said that
they would do everything that they could do. David Bruno came
thru like "Superman" with a inside installation date
for November 6, 2000. NAS guys showed up on time, and installed,
configured my computer, router to work right away. Bottom line
is that I don't think this line would have been installed if it
was'nt for the INYC TEAM. My thanks again to David Bruno, Steven
Bruno and the rest of INYC TEAM.

I would like to tell all of the wonderful experience I had with
INYC...after researching a lot of different ISP`s in the area
I found these guys through a friend..between coordinating the
installs, provisioning the line and setting the appointments I
am up, running, and thrilled. My installation took 12 days from
the date the order was placed..wow that was after I found out
installation can take 3-6 weeks I have a 256k SDSL line for my
business and I am paying $109 a month ....installation and the
router was free.I have had horror stories with another ISP but
these guys are amazing, everyone there is so friendly and helpful,
I feel more like a friend to INYC than a client..the customer
support is impeccable .I never waited on hold (and I hate that
more than anything in the world)..and the phone never rings more
than once before I get through to somebody..their pop is located
in midtown manhattan which probably explains why im having such
good ping times.. thanks guys and keep up the good work

"Go with INYC, they got the job done!"
I first started looking for DSL when my Supervisor asked that
we start
doing research on DSL for the office. We had enough with the expensive
T1 prices we were getting from Bell Atlantic. I narrowed down
my choices
to a couple companies. I decided to go with INYC because the sales
person Tommy was a big help and answered a lot of questions I
had.
We ordered a 1.5Mb SDSL line. It took 4 weeks for Bell Atlantic
to show
up and do some wiring. It took about 10 days after that for INYC
to get
the line working. It was a pain but Tommy was a big help, and
supposedly
it was Bell Atlantic's fault in the end. We are very happy with
our
line, and it is very fast.

"Highly recommend them."
I recently brought INYC online for my company, Central Semiconductor
Corporation. I was extremely hesitant in using a DSL solution
for my corporation because of the horror stories I have read about
DSL. Unfortunately we are in serious need for faster Internet
access and the cost of a T-1 line is prohibitive.
I gave INYC a shot based on reviews that I found here at DSL Reports.
I am glad that I gave them the chance because I now look loke
the Internet Hero at my company.
Short and Simple:
1. They delivered what they said they would provide and were at
my facility at the appointed time.
2. The installer knew what he was doing: Ran a line from the basement
of the facility up into my server room.
3. The connection has been flawless.
4. These guys even helped my with some website difficulies I was
having with another ISP. How is that for support?

"You guys rock!"
Put an order early this year for a DSL services from these guys
for our multiple rooms studio facility. I had first researched
this dslreports.com site for a best rated service: from people's
reports I tought they sounded to good to be true.
Nevertheless, we got hooked up even earlier than I anticipated.
There was a minor problem with the initial setup with Northpoint
which was taken care of on the next business day. Since then,
we have all been able to access it from our multiple stations,
it's one of these technological thing that one loves; you set
it up and forget about it,
it's always there for you when you need it and it makes your life
so
much easier. Hi five guys!

"Its great, speed is awesome, INYC people are allways there,
and I feel like I have a friend in the business."
Hello my name is Glenn and I recently got my INYC DSL line in
my house. I actually work from home so I needed a speedy line
- 608kps down. The installation was a little rough, I had to stay
home one day for bell atlantic then another day for the router
install, it took about 40 days. But Let me tell you this: the
people over at INYC are just incredible! There was not ONE time
I was put on hold for too long and that's if I was even put on
hold, I always had a friendly service guy from INYC call me and
update me on the status. When I called to set up my emails, I
asked if how much would I have to pay if I wanted more then 3
email accounts than they promised and this tech support person
over there, Casadi I think, told me that I could have as many
as I need as long that its reasonable, I have got about 15 email
accounts with them for no charge, not to say the the price I am
paying for such good DSL line is awesome! its all really great,
my line is fast, I have only had it for less then a month but
so far it hasn't been down or slow I usually get ping time of
30ms which is really great for what I do. Because if INYC I am
able to study at home and get my CISCO certification right from
home using online classes and working with the routers live online,
INYC is really great, and as I always say, with INYC I feel like
I have a friend in the businesses.
Feel Free to contact me at ManhattanCCNA@aol.com or my new INYC
email account (one of them) glennm@INYC.com.
Thank you INYC, Thank you David, and Casadi you are really great!

"Best DSL Service I have had yet."
After moving I needed to find a new ISP and I located INYC. After
speaking with several very helpful individuals I decided to place
an order. It took about 4 weeks to get my line installed. After
which time it has been up and running ever since. I love the service,
I have 1040Kbps SDSL line and it is screaming. I pay $329 a month
and it worth eveyr penny. I received free equipment and no install
charges also. Everyone I have talked to there has been quite helpful
and very friendly. Working from home, I require dedicated fast
access and they have definetly delivered! Prior to moving I lived
in Northern California and used DNAI which was good service as
well, however, the INYC support dept. has been much more helpful.

"Speaking to a live person
when you have a question"
:
"SW/HW upgrades - Would like to be
notified as to when they will occur"
: "4.5
stars out of 5.0 (Everyone can always improve)"
To Whom it may concern,
This is a letter to share with you my experiences with INYC.
What I am about to tell you in this email is nothing I have
not mentioned
before to Justin Kiliszek or to Oriya Pollok. The Main reasons
we switched
to a DSL provider are Faster Access to The Web and reliable
Email. Our
business depends upon 2 things in addition to the skills to
do my job, they
are 1.)Reliable Phone/Fax service, and 2.) 365/24/7 Email service.
Many of our clients, with whom we do a tremendous amount of
Business with
communicate with us via Email (Primarily). Given the competitive
nature of
our industry, we have to be Faster & Better than the rest.
Not having that
reliability, hinders our effectiveness of doing things faster
and better
than our competition.
We checked around and INYC was Highly recommended. Any question
was always
answered by Justin, Steve, or Oriya. Being able to speak directly
with any
of these people is refreshing in this day and age of automated
answering
services, voice mail, hold ques, etc. On this matter, A major
thumbs up for
INYC, They answer the phones!
As with anything that works well, more people want to use it,
so they
join/sign up, and as a result growth can be exponential, planned
capacity
may not be enough. Approximately 2 weeks ago we had some issues
with our
Email - after my inquires, the problem was promptly identified,
solution
implemented and the services has been extemporary. We now have
the Porches
of Email Servers - as a INYC Customer I have the ability to
ad users,
forward and do many other things that I had to ask Oriya to
do. His
thoroughness, in having the foresight to see the need for the
Cobalt Mail
Servers (I call them the Porches of Email), get them installed
and up and
running ASAP deserves recognition.
There is allot of Pressure that is put upon talented individuals,
sometimes
we forget that, Oriya does an excellent job and while he is
one person who
in my opinion does the tasks of 2-3 people. I know this from
my personal
experience where I work. I believe his decision to push for
the Porches of
Email Servers, will increase the reliability of Email and Limit
the phone
calls he gets from customers like myself who can be extremely
Demanding.
It takes a long time to build a great reputation, and a very
short time to
obtain a bad reputation. INYC - you do allot of things the right
way, keep
it up.
Sincerely,
Darius X. Thompson

"Great customer support"
:
"Not much, haven't had a chance to
test line speeds very extensively"
:
"Highly recommended. They are honest and straight-forward
to deal with."
We contacted INYC in February for installation of a DSL circuit
in Irving, TX. Steve Bruno was great to work with. He usually
answered the phone when I called, but always returned messages
I left. Definitely an A+ on the service end. The install was
a bit rough, though. The CO in my area was apparently upgrading
equipment which caused a 2 month delay. Locally, SWB was able
to install DSL about a month before Covad which was very frustrating.
I know it was frustrating to Steve at INYC, too. Also getting
install dates was a bit of a nightmare in itself. For some reason
INYC wasn't very in the loop, and SWB showed up to test the
line unexpectedly, and 2 days early. Covad showed up a week
later and did the install. The Covad tech, Don Clark, was fantastic.
He was very knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. Our router's
Crossover switch wasn't working properly, so he replaced it
on the spot.
I would definitely recommend INYC to anyone. The customer service
is very good. As for line speed we ordered an SDSL 192k circuit
which they were running a special on for $99/month. Testing
using DSL report's speed service usually gives us a reading
of 150k to 160k. I'm not sure if we're getting as much as we're
paying for or not. Any feedback on that would be great.
Again, INYC is highly recommended.

Dear Editor,
I promised INYC I would send you this review a couple of months
ago. I had
totally forgotten about it until recently when we had to move
one of our
Bell Atlantic Residential DSL circuits. Arranging with Bell Atlantic
to move
this circuit took many hours of conversations with Bell, They
had no idea on
how to move one of these circuits, when they finally figured it
out, they
left the circuit down for over a week and when they brought it
back up, it
was one of those DSL lines where you have to use this awful Poet
software
where you actually have to "connect" to the internet
each time you want to
use the DSL line.
This review is actually a chained together group of emails that
I had with
Flashcom/COVAD and INYC. All I can say is that Flashcom and COVAD
has the
worst customer service I have ever encountered and that INYC is
on the ball,
I have had the INYC circuit for 3 months now, and have had only
one problem
with it and it turned out to be Bell Atlantic being a pain in
the a.. and
cutting my line because someone had forgotten to dot an "i"
on a piece of
paper work.
Oh, BTW: I think that "Larry Webb" is a made up name
by someone at Flashcom,
I could never get him on the phone and the "Webb" last
name hints toward it
being some kind of WWW fake name.
