I hold an insurance license as well as being a licensed stock broker. I believe that having both licenses, that I can offer my clients full advantage of investment needs. My clientels’ needs range from long term growth, fixed income and I also offer several option strategies including covered call writing.

My clientele generally consists of higher net worth professionals. My philosophy is to look at companies on both fundamental and technical analysis that I believe are on the forefront of their sector prior to getting all the publicity for both the long and short term investor. I also service my clients with investment banking situations by finding rapidly growing companies with innovative ideas and strong market potential.

Depending on each clients individual needs, I select investments by either specifically looking for mutual funds with seasoned management teams, reasonable expense ratios and superior long term performance for both growth and income, or set up both traditional and Roth IRA’s custom tailored to the client’s risk tolerance and investment objectives.

I use a combined strategy of both insider buying and technical analysis when I recommend a company. I believe that corporate insiders know what’s in store for their companies well in advance of Wall Street and the investing public. There’s no better tip off to the probable success of a stock than people in the company putting their own money in it. Finally, I look for companies that are often undervalued and the potential for both short term profits and long term growth.

I have been registered in the investment business since the 1960’s. My background has included ; VP/Manager for Smith Barney Inc., President of BNL Securities. Currently I am the Financial Operations Officer with Preferred Securities. My trading philosophy is first of all to lighten up your position when the market gives a significant sell signal. I am a top down investor. First, I look for the strongest groups and research the stocks in the groups-picking the stocks with the most strength within their industry.

I am experienced in a variety of option strategies that are useful in hedging one’s portfolio. In addition, when I purchase stocks, I limit my clients downside with stop losses. By this method, I concentrate on the safety of principle while at the same time trying to make the client as much of a profit as possible while at the same time limiting their risk.
