What happens after you submit your request for
INYC DSL service?
Once you request DSL service, INYC will work closely with the CLEC
(NAS) and other organizations to orchestrate DSL set-up at your
location as quickly as possible. Typically, the entire process takes
about 30 days from the time you first request INYC DSL service.

Daytime appointments are
inconvenient for me. Can I schedule my service setup on a
weekend or in the evening? |

In some parts of the U.S. we can
schedule service setup for a Saturday. Next year we expect to
expand service setups to include evening and additional weekend
hours. |

Do your
installers make specific appointment times? |

Unfortunately, no. INYC schedules either a morning or afternoon
appointment for your service setup. It usually takes no more
than two hours. |

Will the
DSL installation process be noisy or disrupt phone service in my
home or office? |

Once my DSL
service is installed, will I be automatically connected to the
Internet? |

Yes. As
long as your DSL equipment is plugged in and turned on, you will
have around the clock, "always on" Internet access with your
DSL
service. |
