Your privacy is of the most importance to INYC. Because we gather certain types of information about our subscribers/customers, INYC feels your should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture, use and distribution of that information. This privacy statement is indented to explain what information INYC gathers, how INYC uses that information, and how that information is distributed and how our subscribers/customers can correct or change the information provided. INYC reserves the right to amend this Privacy Statement at any time without notice and only the current Privacy Statement may be deemed effective. By using INYC’s services and/or INYC’s website, you agree to the terms of the INYC’s Privacy Policy and any modifications made to the policy. In the event you not agree with the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy, please do not use INYC’s website or become a subscriber/customer of INYC.

Collection and Use of Personal Identifiable Information:

When you register and become a subscriber/customer of INYC, INYC collects personally identifiable information, which includes but not limited to your legal first and last name, accurate home address, city, state, zip code, accurate email address, accurate phone number, credit card number, and any other information that identifies you as a specific individual. INYC Corporation will not disclose any Personal Identifiable Information without your express consent, other than necessary to provide you with service. INYC Corporation may also collect personally identifiable information when you enter and participate in a sweepstakes or contests through INYC’s website.  INYC uses this information to periodically advise you of the promotions and services INYC thinks you may be interested in, notify you of the promotional offers and services that are available to you locally, to notify you that you are a winner in one of our sweepstakes or contests, and to send you by email materials you will need to send as your proof of purchases. INYC Corporation contacts you in this way to enhance the services provided to you.

INYC’s website might contain links to advertisers, sponsors, affiliates, and or co-branded websites (“Third Parties”). INYC Corporation does not share nor provide these Third Parties with your Personally Identifiable information. When you choose to interact with these Third Parties by subscribing and/or purchasing products and/or services, participating with on-line promotion, survey, questionnaire, contest or sweepstakes, remember each one of such Third Parties has its own privacy policy, which may or may not be similar to INYC’s Privacy policy. At your option you may choose to supply personally identifiable information to these Third Parties. INYC Corporation does not assume any responsibility for actions of Third Parties. Any questions you may have regarding any Third Party privacy policy should be directed to that Third Party. 

INYC Corporation reserves the right to release information about subscribers/customers who INYC Corporation believes are in violation of terms and conditions of Service Agreement, even a without subpoena, warrant or court order. INYC Corporation also reserves the right to report to law enforcement agencies that any activities the INYC Corporation reasonably believes to be unlawful.

Collection and Use of Aggregated Information

Aggregated Information cannot be traced back to a specific individual and includes, without limitation, demographic information (including, but not limited to, age, gender, ethnic heritage, employment status, profession, household income level, and educational level). Additionally INYC Corporation may automatically gather certain information about our subscribers/customers based upon subscriber’s/customer’s use of INYC Service. We do this with the use of “cookies”. Cookies allow INYC to keep track of certain statistical information including your purchases, preferences, answers to surveys and questionnaires, number and type of promotional offers you participate in, your interests and/or hobbies, spending habits. INYC Corporation uses Aggregated Information to research our subscribers’/customers’ demographics, interests and behavior in order to better understand and serve them.  This information helps us to identify the most popular regions on the INYC website and determine the effectiveness of our promotional activities.

Aggregated Information received from questionnaires, surveys, qualified interactions and promotions are shared with Third Parties to inform these parties of subscribers/customers who have seen their advertisements, answered questionnaires or surveys, and subscribers’ likes and dislikes.

Cookies

Cookies are pieces of data stored on your hard drive in a form of tiny text files. These cookies are in no way connected to subscribers’/customers’ personal identifiable information while you are on our site. Cookies allow us to remember you as you visit pages in our site. If a subscriber/customer decides to reject cookies certain limitations to the use of INYC’s website may apply. Some of our sponsors use or may use cookies on our site. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

Log Files

INYC Corporation may use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track subscriber’s/customers’ movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

Options to Change Your Preferences

INYC Corporation may selectively provide subscribers/customers with promotional email messages on behalf of sponsors with products and services INYC believes may be of interest to you. If a member does not wish to receive any promotional email messages regarding special promotional offers, sweepstakes, contests, products or services, he/she may opt-out by replying to any of such promotional email submissions with the word “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line in such email. Subscriber/customer can opt-out from receiving all and any promotional offers, sweepstakes, and contests by replying to the welcoming email with the word “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line of the welcoming email.

Once you are no longer a subscriber/customer, INYC will remove your information from its active database. Please be advised that you may continue to receive email messages for a period of up to thirty (30) business days or more after you have canceled your service with INYC. Even when you cancel your service with INYC, residual information still remains in INYC’s database and records. INYC will maintain information of subscribers/customers who have canceled their service. INYC reserves the right to inform its former subscribers/customers from time to time of improvements or changes to the INYC services and/or INYC website.

Security

INYC has the most concern regarding safeguarding the privacy of its subscribers/customers. Your any account information (email and/or FTP access) is password-protected so you are the only one who has access to your account (other than iNYC employees who need access to the information to perform their jobs). Such employees are aware of and committed to INYC’s privacy and security policies. A subscriber’s/customer’s password is never exported from the INYC’s database, or transferred to any other external systems, in order to minimize the chance of someone accessing subscriber’s/customer’s password and gaining access to a your account. INYC encourages you not to disclose your password information to anyone.

Whenever INYC handles personal information, it will take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, and INYC can not guarantee or warrant the security of the information you transmit to us.  However, INYC does make the best effort to protect the security of our system.

Opt-Out

When a subscriber/customer registers for a service offered by INYC, INYC will collect and track personal information by asking subscribers/customers to provide us with personally identifiable information (such as legal name, address, email address and phone number). INYC also collects personally identifiable information when you participate in a sweepstakes or contests available through INYC’s website.

INYC will use this personally identifiable information to contact you from time to time either by email, regular mail and/or phone to tell you about promotions and services which we feel may be of interest to you. Be advised that your previous opt-out selection will not be in effect when you voluntarily participate in any sweepstakes, contests, surveys, questionnaires, or any of qualified intersections available through INYC’s website that requests you to provide your personal information. At that time you grant INYC the right to contact you, regardless of your previous choice to opt-out.

Notification of Changes

In the event INYC decides to change or amend this Privacy Policy, we will post such changes in the Privacy Policy section of INYC website, so you our subscribers/customers can always be aware of what information INYC collects, how it uses collected information, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
